Job Overview
The moment a guest steps into one of our hotels, they walk into a genuinely memorable experience. As a Breakfast Supervisor, you’ll not only be the person they rely on to offering warm welcome, local insights and anticipate every detail of a guest experience, you’ll also create the warm atmosphere that makes our guests feel at home in the hotel.
Some of the duties you’ll undertake in this varied role include – Supervising the team, coaching and mentoring the team, rota planning, maintaining breakfast standards, telephone enquiries, breakfast reservations, preparing taking payments from our guests, conducting end of shift/day banking, and preparing for the shift ahead.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Ø Supervise Food and Beverage Breakfast Outlet operations
Ø Communicate and delegate tasks to the team
Ø Ensure compliance of brand standards
Ø Manage guest queries in a timely and efficient manner
Ø Represent needs of the team
Ø Assist Hotel General manager with achieving financial targets
Ø Training and development of Food and Beverage team members
Ø Assist with annual and mid-year appraisals with team members under your responsibility
Ø Comply with hotel security, fire regulations and all health and safety legislation
Ø Be environmentally aware
Ø Assist other departments wherever necessary and maintain good working relationships
Person Specification:
You enjoy supervising and delivering operations smoothly and efficiently, dealing with guests’ queries and complaints, and creating memorable experiences for our guests and colleagues. You will work closely with the management team, deputising in their absence, and working towards common goals.
